Family Atheists Not Wanted

A national survey for the Washington Post has revealed that seven in ten Americans would be troubled if a member of their immediate family married an atheist.

Four in ten - 39% - said that they thought they could come to terms with the situation eventually, but 30% said that they never could.

Only 32% said that it would be fine with them if an atheist joined the family.

The survey was made with 1,709 randomly selected adults and reported by
